Harlem 6 has a sit down with the Sal B, the President of Central Entertainment Group, and signs their deal. Central Entertainment Group (CEG Talent) is the #3 Booking and Management Agency in the world, and the most attentive of the Top 3. As we were sitting down, Sal yells out, "Oh and Fifty needs another coach seat." To which I replied, "You work with 50 Cent?" He answered, "Yeah... we work with everybody."

Harlem 6 wishes you firey warm holiday greetings from all 12, 14, 6, or 82 of us... the roster is huge now and the movement is even bigger. Heck, I even got my face up on the site as a Tech Guy. DJ Mixin Mike is the official DJ. We can now go to events and everyone will know the whole team's faces just from looking at the web site. I noticed that the other day when we showed up to Play Pusher studios ... everyone had their face online. It was a good feeling, knowing we all had that dot com recognition.
Speaking of recognition, Harlem 6 just got signed to CEG Talent through our connect with Elevated Scott (@Elv8Scott). Unsurprisingly, it has been the fairest contract I have ever seen. Prior to the signing, Harlem 6 has already been in progress setting up a show with ClubZone radio, being a major part of a nationwide tour with 911 Doves Inc. on their DUI Awareness Tour, and making it to the Global Attack MixTapes coming out early 2011. Stay alert! We're about to blow sky high, with the talent agent/management support, finally.

Harlem 6 has released the first and only tribute album to the Wu-Tang Clan. This album is called, The New Breed, and it is found exclusively on ChamberMusik.com featuring many tracks produced by the RZA. Features on the album are a vast variety of new and respected hip hop artists including the RZA, Krumbsnatcha, Buddha Monk, and Radaar Vann.
Though it's been no real secret, John Haynes is a part of Harlem 6. Recently, the web site has been updated to include him as a supporting member. He has been on numerous tracks with Black Jesus and AGR. He even has a few unreleased joints with other acts (which I can't say... it's unreleased, you know).
Let me tell you a bit about John Haynes from my personal experience. We met him through his friend. AGR was selling him a CD, and the young man mentioned he had a friend who rapped. That friend was John Haynes, who went by the alias Big J. Although John was only 14 when we met him, he was clearly taller than both of us. Indeed, he was a Big J.
Homework was bogging me down and robbing me of sleep, so I was tired the day we had the meeting with Staci (John Haynes mother) and Joan (his Aunt). I thought it was a interesting proposition: a young rapper - clean and educated. I went despite my state. They sat us down, hid their kids, and made us feel at home. The Sisters played his mixtape music, and I was amazed at how intelligent John's his flow was and how he was able to match the tone of the song at each moment with his voice. As a singer, this is a required skill in professional compositions, and to find it in a young rapper was awe ... some.
I said I was tired, right? Stressed out and whatever? They just had to play his tear jerker song (Trading War Stories). Never has a song made me cry. For whatever reason, Staci and Joan thought it was awesome I teared up. I blamed it on my tiredness, but they just wanted me to shut up and accept that it was an awesome song that captured the emotions of sorrow, struggle, and tragedy. I was tired, but yeah, the other thing, too.
We all love John Haynes here at Entaprise. Harlem 6 the movement has always been about helping the babies, and now we have a perfect example - John Haynes.
Due to the nature of the recent concert bookings, Harlem 6 will not perform tonight, nor did they yesterday night. Originally we were not given reason to why the paperwork was not signed first by the venue in a timely manner. I'm sorry for the troubles this may have caused you if you were planning on attending these shows. Sometimes things aren't meant to be.
The Stop the Violence Tour was attracting gang violence at the shows. This is wrong on so many levels. It had nothing to do with the venue booing groups. It just so happens that a lot of gangsters like the artists that were performing. Therefore, the tour has been suspended. The manager/venue owner did not get back with the paperwork (performance contract) because of this.
Speaking of the paperwork, if you are a musical artist, please recognize the seriousness of the performance contract. If a venue cannot commit to having insurance, providing minimal hospitality, guaranteeing performance, and working within technical specifications, there should never ever be a show at that venue. It is not worth the risk of getting everyone together, using your time and money to get there, and then to not be able to play.

The Divine Records promo video is now public! As you know, Harlem 6 has recently filmed their latest music video, "Ode 2 The Wu" in Harlem, New York. What you may not have known is that there were also several other filmings the same weekends Harlem 6 was getting it in... Grand Puba, E Smoove, Stae Fly, Cheena Black, and... Harlem 6, of course.
The video starts out with the corporate music empire headquarters complaining about how much Urban Music has taken a dive. Then... Alexander The Great announces the R&Bling Movement. Bada boom - real urban music. They've saved the best for last... 4:54.
With the passing of Guru of Gangstarr, a lot of media has been looking for answers. Who was he? What was his legacy? Sadly, not all of the answers are righteous. The person with the most dirt on Guru and his right hand man, Solar the producer, is none other than our very own Black Jesus of the Harlem 6. Black Jesus did the "I'm Sayin'" single with Ill Kid Records, Guru's record label.
Last weekend, Harlem 6 met up to shoot the Ode 2 The Wu video in Harlem, New York. So far, the shots contain a green screen and an outdoor stage. The list of people that showed up for the video is pretty intense. Heck, I even made it in the Harlem 6 video. I'm rocking the banner with John Hayne's buddy, Kyle. I hope they slow mo some of that shiznit.

Anything you can offer will help change the world that Harlem six will create once on top. If there's anything I've learned from working with these guys is that they are not your average bears... uhh, i mean artists. Watch the video they have on the website, it's a collaboration of a bunch of clips the six have in their library. The website that this link is located on allows you to "kickstart" any movement you are trying to start. I would say that the Protectors album is a pretty good cause led by some pretty good artists. I encourage you to help these guys so they can get where they need to go and release this album. I dont know about you, but I've been waiting for some new Harlem 6 foreverrrrrrr. Please donate and help the 6 advance the movement.
My sincere apologies to all. Harlem6.com has been down for almost two months. This was do to transfer of hosting accounts. The old account expired and was not linked to the Entaprise Entertainment internet marketing bank account. In fact, it was a friend of Harlem 6 who owned the hosting account. But the dude came through, let us into the control panel, we negotiated a two month contract with the hosting providers and moved the entire site over to the normal hosting account on EntapriseEntertainment.com.
But what do you care? Harlem6.com is running. That's all that matters now. Keep it real.

The group has been quite busy lately, communicating back and forth from Worcester to NY a countless number of times in the past few months. Not much of AGR has been seen, his counterpart, the more business savvy, Mr. Harrison has been frantically working on the foregrounds of the movement to advance it. This busy work though, cannot compare to what the Entaprise family as whole does... selling CD’s on the street and reaching real fans, forwards the movement by incredible amounts.
Some look at the CD and by the look on their face you can tell that they are thinking, "Is this a bootleg CD?" My friend Devin put it to me like this, "Those slim cases are deceiving. You may need to put your eyeglasses on. The person selling you the CD is most likely on the front cover." It's true - Black Jesus and AGR sell a lot. The other Harlem 6 members and family do as well, especially Stove, so you might as well help a brotha out and cop it. Not sure if you've been keeping up on old celebrities, but I've got some bad news to share with you. One of my most favorite musicians ever has passed two days ago from a heart attack. He was 43. It was brought to my attention by a relative of his and when i heard it i was shocked. Kinda hindered my celebrations of yesterday, however i sure did commemorate the life and the message spread by the furious duo of Gang Starr.
An era has ended, but I'm sure that new stuff produced by the Six is gonna be the start of something new and great.
Canal Lounge, Worcester, MA. Were you there? If you were you probably saw Paul Markham opening for Blaq Poet. You probably also saw all the girls singing, "She likes white boys..." Critics say that "Paul Markham was the best performance. He really moved the crowd. Got everyone going." And if you were there on the 6th you wouldn't forget John Haynes opening up for Cappadonna. John Haynes had the only dancers on stage, amazed the crowds with his fast intellectual lyrical onslaught ripping through the crowd like a machine gun. The performance of the two would not be complete without their guru, A.G.R., pumping up the crowd and serenading the ladies with his lyrical fills. Paul Markham's mixtape is soon to be released as "So Far In". John Haynes' mixtape album, "Law & Order, Volume 1" is officially out for grass-root sales and soon to be online at EntapriseEntertainment.com.

I suggest you shuffle on over to the Canal Lounge and see the most exciting group out right now. For all of you who have trouble extracting information out of sentences full of sarcasm, Harlem 6 is headlining the Canal Lounge (90 harding St, Worcester), on March 6th. But, that's not why Harlem 6 is back, I know something youuuu don't know... well, not anymore...
On the Records side of things, Divine Records has just offered Harlem 6 the opportunity of a lifetime - open up for Janet Jackson as she headlines the tribute to Michael Jackson in London. Harlem 6 is negotiating a branding deal with Coca-Cola to spin off a European tour starting at that show.
How bout 'dem apples? Sorry if that was too much to handle all at once. Words to live by... "I put my work and watch my status escalate."
Recently I've been "googling" Harlem 6 and have been finding a surprising number of relevant hints. If the sample of the cd's on this website aren't enough for you, you'll probably have success in finding more Harlem 6 music on websites like Blip.fm, friendfeed.com, and pandora.com; check it out. These websites all have free memberships; if you wish to join them, you can listen to more Harlem 6 music. You can also find a Squidoo.com page with some old Harlem 6 videos, that have recently been taken off of the myspace.com page. If you register to those websites let me know, I have accounts on them.
